Corn pudding

    Delicious corn pudding cooked with sweet rice, and top Coconut dressing is one many Cambodian great recipes for dessert.

bulletIngredients :
bullet2 Cups fresh corn kernels. (About 3 ears of corn)
bullet1/3 Cup sweet jasmine rice.
bullet5 Cups water.
bullet Teaspoon salt.
bullet Teaspoon vanilla extract.
bullet1 Cup sugar.
bulletProcedures :
Before you cut corn kernels, make sure to remove all silks of the ears of corn.
Use sharp knife, scrape the cobs with thin cut.
Place sweet rice and corn kernels in a non-stick saucepan.
Pour water in and cook till the rice done.
Add salt, vanilla extract and sugar. Stir well.
Serve warm with Coconut dressing on top.

Coconut Dressing

    This Coconut dressing is delicious and very popular among Cambodian. We use Coconut sauce with many recipes, from desserts to main dish.  It is one of the Khmer wonderful and unique sauce.

bulletIngredients :
bullet1 large cans 13.5 oz. Coconut milk.
bullet Tablespoon sugar.
bullet1 Tablespoon cornstarch.
bullet Teaspoon salt.
bulletProcedures :
Mix all ingredients in a small saucepan. Cook in low heat till sauce thickening.
