Syntax

မင်္ဂလာ + ပါ    is a combination of a noun "မင်္ဂလာ " and ပါ .  ပါ is used for politeness following a noun at the end of a sentence, and it is equivalent to "is."

Noun+ ပါ

ကျွန်တော် ဆရာပါ။   I am a teacher.

ခင်ဗျား ကျောင်းသူပါ။   You are a female student.

သူ ကျောင်းသားပါ။   He is a male student.

Note:" ။ " appears at the end of sentences like a period in English.

ခင်ဗျာ / ရှင်    at the end of a sentence stands for "Sir" or "Madam."  ခင်ဗျာ is spoken by male and ရှင် by female speakers.

Sentence+ ခင်ဗျာ/ ရှင်

ကျွန်တော် ဆရာပါ ခင်ဗျာ။   I am a teacher, Sir/Madam.

ကျွန်မ ကျောင်းသူပါ ရှင်။   I am a female student, Sir/Madam.
