Holy Basil (Ocium sanctum)
Holy basil grows into a low bush. Its leaves are small with strong smell. There are two kinds of holy basil: the red one and the green one. They are named for the color of their trunks and leaves. The red holy basil has stronger smell. The Thais use holy basil to stir fry with red hot chili and any kind of meat, except fish.
