Disguised as follower spirits of Guan and Thiam, people wear ghost masks made of colored coconut fronds and cover their body with a large piece of cloth. Holding a sword or halbred as weapon, "Phee Ta Khons" dance to the rhythms made by bamboo joints and cowbells tied to their ankles.
