The "castles", made of banana bole and ornated with wax, usually take 4 different shapes--a shrine, a spirit house, a Bussabok (a movable throne with 4 posts supporting a spire) and a Chaturamuk (a 4-front-balcony throne).  People build and parade Prasat Phuengs as an offering to Lord Buddha, with a hope to be reborn in Heaven.
