ปัจจุบันการโพนช้างหรือการจับช้างลำบากมากขึ้น เนื่องด้วยช้างป่ามีจำนวนลดลง
ชาวส่วยจึงฝึกช้างที่มีอยู่แต่เดิมและลูกหลานของช้างเหล่านั้น Suay people, Cambodian descents living in Surin, are known for elephant capturing. Nowadays, as the member of wild elephants decreases, Suay people train only offsprings of the elephants they already own. |
