Below are three conversations followed by a set of questions for each conversation. Click on the sound botton to listen to the conversations. Listen carefully as each one of the conversations is read. You may click on the sound botton again to relisten to the conversations. After that, you are to be prepared to answer in Thai questions for each of the conversations. If you cannot do this without hesitation you need to review the Listening In sections of Units 13 to 17. Note carefully the following points about conversation 2 below: The word ประตู which you already know in the meaning 'door' or 'gate' is used here as a classifier meaning 'goal (in football)'. The words ครึ่ง 'half' and เวลา 'time' which are already quite familiar to you are used together here to form an expression ครึ่งเวลา meaning 'half-time', as the term is used to football. |
