1st person = "the one who is talking"
= I, me, my

"I am a teacher." Aku (adalah) (seorang) guru. Saya (adalah) (seorang) guru.
"My friend hasn't yet met with me." Temanku belum bertemu denganku. Teman saya belum bertemu dengan saya.
2nd person = "the one I'm talking to"
= you, your
kamu, -mu Anda, Saudara, Ibu, Bapak
"Do you like to shop?" Apakah kamu suka berbelanja? Apakah Anda suka berbelanja?
"Your younger sibling doesn't want to work with you." Adikmu tidak mau bekerja denganmu. Adik Anda tidak mau bekerja dengan Anda.
3rd person = "the one I'm talking about"
= he, she, his, hers, him, her
dia, ia, -nya beliau
"She is happy to take the bus." Dia senang naik bus. Beliau senang naik bus.
"His name is not Zainal. Namanya bukan Zainal. Nama beliau bukan Zainal.
"I work with her." Saya bekerja dengannya (= dengan dia). Saya bekerja dengan beliau.
1st person plural inclusive = "you and I"

"We already studied Indonesian today." Kita sudah belajar Bahasa Indonesia hari ini.
"This is our house." Ini (adalah) rumah kita.
"He will meet with us." Dia akan bertemu dengan kita.
1st person plural exclusive = she/he and I (NOT you)  = we, our, us kami
"We lived in Indonesia for two years." Kami tinggal di Indonesia dua  tahun .
"Our daughter is named Jennifer." Anak perempuan kami bernama Jennifer.
"Do you want to eat with us?" Apakah Anda mau makan dengan kami?
3rd person plural,= they, their, them mereka, -nya
"They are shopping at the market." Mereka sedang berbelanja di pasar.
"Their school is good" Sekolah mereka baik.= Sekolahnya baik.
"I go to the shops with them." Saya pergi ke toko-toko dengan mereka (= dengannya).
