LIVID ABOUT LENDERS: A large mob of young protesters, some
half naked and bodies smeared with mud, demonstrate noisily in
front of the Jakarta Stock Exchange building. During Thursday's
rally, the protesters blamed the world's lending institutions like the
Consultative Group on Indonesia, the World Bank and the
International Monetary Fund for Indonesia's economic problems.
