Court martial advice sought on five rangers
Yala _ The provincial court has asked the Military Judicial Office to decide if
five paramilitary rangers accused of killing a Muslim man in this southern
province last week should get court-martialled.
The court rejected a lawsuit filed against the five by Usaman Nurul-adin Jehlae,
lawyer and father of Ilmin Nurul-adin Jehlae, a 20-year-old Sukhothai
Thammathirat Open University student, whom the rangers shot. The court said the
case should go to the military court instead.
