Chao Ngaw and Rojana The king of Samon wanted his seven daughters to get married, but his seventh one, Rojana, couldn't find the right man among the kings and princes who were invited to join the selection in the first round. The king, finally, asked all men in cluding commoners to come for the selection. Being a true couple from the past life, Rojana had a premonition and saw that under the disguised figure was the handsome Pra Sang. So, she selected him by throwing the garland to him. Of course, the kings didn't like her idea but had to keep his promise. He expelled the couple to leave in a small hut in the ricefield outside the palace. This slide shows the moment while Rojana is throwing a garland to Chao Ngaw. From Sang Thong by King Rama II |
