This is a variation of "Phờ bò". Instead of thin slices of beef, the Vietnamese use meatballs made of lean beef. You can buy frozen beef meat balls from Vietnamese grocery stores (in the freezer section). The ingredients and the instructions are the same as for "Phờ boø", but skip the rump roast.
