no puff of air as there is with "kh" (ຄ).
The sound is close to the English "g" sound, but not "voiced."

2. When you say words ending with ເອົາ "aw" or
ອາວ "aaw"

"OO" and the vowel ໂ "oo". Both are rounded. Listen, then repeat.
5. ວ "w" may often sound more like an English "v" than and an English
"w". In fact, it has similarities to both.
6. In most two-syllable words, a long vowel in the first
syllable gets shortened. Listen to the following, then repeat. Be sure to say
them at normal speed.
