Monks walk along the road to the temple, receive flowers from waiting offerers and take them to the Mondop of Wat Phra Buddha Bart to worship Lord Buddha's Footprint, Stupa of the Crystal Teeth and the Great Mahathat Chedi.  In former times, one offered "Buddhist Lent Flowers"-those of ginger and galingale families; yellow, white and bluish purple in color. Now that they are rarer to find, one offers all types of flowers in the ceremony.
