Sart Duen Sib (Festival of 10th Lunar Monch), Nakhonsri Thammarat
In September, from 1st day of the waning moon to the full moon day of 10th lunar month, Nakhonsri Thammarat celebrates "Sart Duen Sib" or Festival of 10th Lunar Month. During this time, Buddhists make and dedicate merits to the spirits of their relatives and friends whom Phya Yom, Demon King, allows to ascend from Hell and stay temporarily on Earth.
