Wai Phra Chan (Chinese Lunar Festival)

Wai Phra Chan, or Chinese Lunar Festival, falls on the full moon day of 8th lunar month.
When the moon appears on the sky, each household sets up its own altar in front of the house. Offerings, encompassing including Khanom Pia, Khanom Ko, and desserts made of flour, soybean and sesame, as well as fruits and flowers, are put on the altar as a tribute to the moon.
