Some believe that the moon is the incarnated Buddha-to-be. Others look on the moon as a goddess; thus perfumery like soap and powder is placed on the altar.
     The Festival is made even more famous by "Wai Phra Chan Sweet Cake". Stuffed with a variety of fillings, it makes a good present for friends.
