รับบัว-โยนบัวที่สมุทรปราการ
เป็นประเพณีเฉพาะท้องถิ่นซึ่งมีเพียงแห่งเดียวในประเทศไทย คือที่อำเภอบางพลี จังหวัดสมุทรปราการทำกันในวันขึ้น ๑๕ ค่ำ เดือน ๑๑ (ตรงกับเดือนตุลาคม) ประเพณีนี้สืบเนื่องมาจากประเพณีเก่าแก่ ลำคลองหนองบึงในอำเภอบางพลีแต่เดิมนั้นอุดมไปด้วยดอกบัวหลวง เมื่อใกล้ออกพรรษา ชาวบ้านละแวกใกล้เคียงมักพายเรือมาเก็บดอกบัวไปถวายพระ ชาวบางพลีเป็นผู้มีน้ำใจ จึงอาสาเก็บดอกบัวรอท่าไว้เพื่อให้คนต่างถิ่นพายเรือมารับ

Rub Bua-Yon Bua (Lotus Giving Festival), Samutprakarn
Rub Bua-Yon Bua, or Lotus Giving Festival, is celebrated on 14th day of the new moon in 11th lunar month. Its origin is traced back to earlier times when Bang Plee canals and swamps were filled with lotus. It was customary to Bang Plee residents to collect lotus flowers for people from nearby districts who needed them for religion acts on the post-Buddhist Lent Day.
