To ask where someone is going:

They are going where? (Where are they going?)

You are going where? (Where are you going?)

Mom is going where? (Where is Mom going?)

To answer these questions, drop the question word and answer with the ke –place (“to” place)

They are going to the beach.

You are going to school.

Mom is going to the hospital.

Now will examine naik apo questions and answers. Naik apo = By way of what?  

To ask how someone will be traveling:

We are going to the beach by way of what? (How are we going/traveling to the beach?)

You are going to school by way of what? (How are you going/traveling to school?)

Dad is going to the hospital by way of what? (How is Mom going/traveling to the hospital?)

To answer:

We are going to the beach by train.

You are going to school by walking/on foot.

Dad is going to the hospital by car.
