1. khɔ̄y ຄ່ອຍ  often occurs in commands.  it is usually repeated, khɔ̄y khɔ̄y ຄ່ອຍ ຄ່ອຍ. 

ເຮັດຄ່ອຍ ໆ ຈອກຈຶງສິບ່ແຕກ

hēt khɔ̄y khɔ̄y cɔ̂ɔk cȳŋ si bɔ̄ɔ tε̂εk Do it gently so the glass doesn't break.

2. thīi ທີ   'who, which, that' is a connecting word.  It is often optional and added for emphasis.

ຄົນທີມາບໍ່ແມ່ນອ້າຍຂ້ອຍ	khón thīi máa bɔ̄ɔ mέεn àay khɔ̂y The person who came is not my brother.
ລາວເປັນຄົນທີດີ	láaw pen khón thīi dii He's a good person.
ຂ້ອຍເສຍໃຈທີເຈົ້າມາບໍ່ໄດ້	khɔ̂y sǐa cay thīi càw máa bɔ̄ɔ dày I am sorry that you can't come. bookshalves

 

Note that thīi ທີ  is also used with khɔ̂ɔp cay ຂອບໃຈ.

ຂອບໃຈທີເຈົ້າສົ່ງປື້ມໃຫ້ຂ້ອຍ	khɔ̂ɔp cay thīi càw sōŋ pỳm hây khɔ̄y Thank you for sending the book to me.
ຂອບໃຈທີເຊີນ	khɔ̂ɔp cay thīi sǝ́ǝn Thank you for inviting me.
