| The soldiers on guard kept count of those coming and going. |
ผู้คนไปมาก็ตรวจนับ |
| They were very strict. |
เข้าออกกําชับกวดขัน |
| Inside there were ladies in waiting. |
ชั้นในนั้นนางกํานัล |
| They numbered in the thousands, guarding the maiden. |
นับพันอยู่เฝ้ากัลยา |
| "If I were to descend now |
แม้นกูจะลงไปบัดนี้ |
| Probably the demon giants |
น่าที่อสูรยักษา |
| Who are on guard here |
ซึ่งอยู่ตระเวนตรวจตรา |
| They would probably come out and fight. |
เห็นว่าจะออกชิงชัย |
| How am I to meet the Queen? |
ไหนจะพบองค์อัคเรศ |

| The tree was nice to look at. |
มิ่งไม้สะอ้านสะอาดตา |
| It had flowers and ripe fruit. |
ผลิดอกออกผลสุกห่าม |
| It was healthy all over. |
งอกงามเรียบเรียงซ้ายขวา |
| He looked in the golden pavilion. |
