| The fourth carried a club. |
มือสี่นั้นถือคทาธร |
| The fifth hand swung a curved sword. |
มือห้าถือง้าวกวัดแแกว่ง |
| The sixth hand held a bow and arrow. |
มือหกนั้นถือพระแสงศร |
| The seventh hand held a lance. |

| The eighth hand held a shiny iron hammer. |

| He saw the monkey fly to the city of giants. |
เห็นวานรเหาะมาเมืองมาร |

โกรธปานดั่งฟ้าคะนองสาย |

ได้ฟังวานรอหังการ์ |
| In his anger he gnashed his teeth. |
โกรธาขบเขี้ยวเคี้ยวฟัน |
| So he called out, "Hey, monkey, |
จึ่งร้องว่าเหวยอ้ายชาติลิง |
| You are brazen and impudent in your illusions. |
มาเย่อหยิ่งอวดฤทธิ์ด้วยโมหันธ์ |
| You're small as a fly. |
ตัวมึงกระจ้อยเท่าแมงวัน |
| Do you think you can escape my hand?" |
ฤาจะครั่นมืออสุรี |
| Saying this he swung his weapon. |

| He showed his giant's power |

| He swung his magic trident and fought. |
แกว่งตีฤทธิรอนโรมรัน |
| Back and forth they seized each other in the clouds. |
กลอกกลับจับกันในเมฆา |
| Each one was brave. |
ต่างหาญต่างกล้าแข็งขัน |
| Each one was stabbed and slashed and cut. |
ต่างแทงต่างฟาดต่างฟัน |
| Each one pressed forward and fought. |
ต่างรุกบุกบันประจัญตี ฯ |

| As for the demon guardian of he city of giants |

| He swooped down and pounched, and they mixed together. |
ถาโถมโจมรุกคลุกคลี |
| The demon did not slacken. |
อสุรีไม่ละลดกร |
| He thrust his weapon, causing confusion. |
พุ่งซัดอาวุธสับสน |
| The two of them fought viciously. |
ต่างตนเหี้ยมหาญชาญสมร |
| Each one retreated and advanced in the sky. |
ต่างถอยต่างไล่ในอัมพร |
| They fought in close combat. |

โจนขึ้นเหยียบเข่ายืนยัน |
| His hand clawed at the demon's head. |
มือนั้นจิกเศียรอสุรา |
| He got the advantage and swung the slashing trident. |
ได้ทีแกว่งตรีฟันฟาด |
| He cut the neck from the giant's body. |
คอขาดจากกายยักษา |
| He flung it into the sea |
ขว้างไปยังสมุทรคงคา |
| And killed him with his magical powers. |
